St. Francis of Assisi Celebration
Our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students celebrated the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi by watching a video and talking about how St. Francis loved all types of animals and the environment. The students also brought in a picture of their pet or a stuffed animal and received a St. Francis medal. All students had the opportunity to participate in an animal food drive where the items would be donated to the New Beginnings Animal Rescue in East Brunswick. A small group of students presented the Animal Rescue with animal food, blessed medals and a blessed picture of St. Francis of Assisi for rescue's dog area.
